How to Play

Find Identical Pairs

Locate two tiles with the same symbol. Standard tiles must match exactly, while special Season and Flower tiles can be matched with any other tile in their group.

The "Free" Tile Rule

A tile can only be selected if it is "free"—meaning it is not covered by another tile and has at least one side (left or right) completely open.

Clear the Pyramid

Each match removes the pair from the board. Your goal is to systematically dismantle the entire structure until no tiles remain on the grid.

Plan Your Moves

Be careful! Clearing the wrong pair might leave other tiles permanently blocked. Think ahead to ensure you always have a path to the bottom layers.

Can every board be solved?
Most layouts in Zen Mahjong Solitaire are generated to be solvable, but your choices matter! If you reach a "No Moves" state, try using the undo or reshuffle features to find a new path.
