Spiderette Solitaire

Spiderette is the perfect choice for players who love the mechanics of Spider Solitaire but prefer a shorter, more intense session. Using only one deck of cards and a Klondike-style tableau, Spiderette forces you to make every move count. It’s all the fun of the classic "eight-leg" puzzle, condensed into a fast and challenging experience.

How to Play

1

The Seven Columns

Cards are dealt into 7 columns, Klondike-style (1 card in the first, 2 in the second, up to 7). Only the top card of each pile is face-up at the start.

2

Build Downwards

Build cards in descending order (e.g., a 9 on a 10), regardless of suit. However, you can only move a group of cards if they are all of the same suit and in the correct sequence.

3

Clear the Suits

Unlike Klondike, there are no foundations at the top. Instead, you win by arranging a full sequence from King down to Ace of the same suit within the tableau. Once a set is complete, it is removed from the board.

4

Stock Dealing

When you run out of moves, deal the remaining cards from the stock. One card will be added to each tableau column. Be careful: you must have no empty columns to deal from the stock!

Spiderette Briefing

How is it different from Spider Solitaire?
Spider Solitaire uses 2 decks (104 cards) and 10 columns. Spiderette uses only 1 deck (52 cards) and 7 columns, making the games much shorter but often more difficult to win.

What is the difficulty level?
Spiderette is considered a medium-to-hard difficulty game. Because there are fewer cards, you have fewer opportunities to "bury" mistakes than in the full-sized Spider game.
