How to Play

1

The Pyramid Layout

All 52 cards are dealt face-up into 10 columns. The first column has 8 cards, and each subsequent column has one fewer, down to 1 card.

2

Build Down

You can move any card onto another card that is one rank higher, regardless of suit (e.g., place a 7 of Hearts on an 8 of Clubs).

3

Sequence Movement

You can only move a group of cards if they form a natural sequence of the same suit (e.g., a 6-5-4 all of Diamonds).

4

Victory Condition

The goal is to assemble four full suit sequences (King down to Ace) in the tableau. Once a sequence is complete, it is moved to the foundations.

Common Questions

Is Simple Simon easier than Spider Solitaire?
While it only uses one deck, the layout and move rules make it a high-difficulty game. Most players find it more challenging than 1-suit Spider but easier than 4-suit Spider.

Can I move any card to an empty space?
Yes! Any single card or valid same-suit sequence can be moved to an empty column, providing great tactical flexibility.
