How to Play

1

The Royal Layout

Using 104 cards, the game features 16 foundation slots: 8 in the top row (Kings and Aces) and 8 in the bottom row (2s). Any card from the tableau can be moved to these slots.

2

Foundation Sequencing

Top foundations build Aces up to Queens, and Kings stay put. Bottom foundations build from 2s up to Jacks by suit, skipping every other value (evens/odds) in some variations, or sequential in others.

3

Tableau Movement

Build the eight tableau columns down regardless of suit. This unique rule allows for massive flexibility, but creates a puzzle of how to unblock your foundations.

4

Stock & Waste

Draw from the stock pile to the waste. You can only use the top card of the waste pile, so every decision in the tableau must be calculated to keep the waste moving.

Common Questions

Why are there so many foundations?
Because you are managing two full decks! The goal is to separate the royal court, placing Kings and Queens in their respective spots while building the numeric sequences below.

Is this game winnable?
It has a high complexity rating. Success depends on how well you utilize the tableau's suit-free building to uncover the necessary starting cards for the foundations.
