How to Play

1

The Double Deck Deal

Using two decks (104 cards), 12 columns are dealt with 4 cards each. All cards are face-up and visible, setting a tactical stage from the first move.

2

Eight Foundations

The foundations are built by suit, starting from Aces through Kings. Since there are two decks, you must complete two full sets for each suit.

3

Bidirectional Tableau

Build tableau columns up or down by suit (e.g., a Spade 7 can go on a Spade 8 OR a Spade 6). Only the top card of a column can be moved.

4

The Stock & Empty Spaces

Deal cards from the remaining stock to a waste pile. Empty tableau spaces are extremely powerful and can be filled with any card to help rearrange your sequences.

The Commander's Guide

Is Legion harder than Klondike?
Yes. The scale of the two-deck system and the requirement to build by suit (not alternating color) makes it much more strategic.

Movement Rule:
Only single cards can be moved at once. You cannot move entire sequences, so use your empty spaces wisely to untangle piles.
