How to Play

1

Double-Deck Setup

Using two decks (104 cards), cards are dealt into six tableau "lanes." The first card of each lane is face-up, while the rest remain hidden until uncovered.

2

The Eight Foundations

Your goal is to build eight foundation piles up by suit, starting from Ace and ending with King. Since there are two decks, you must complete two full sets for each suit.

3

Building the Lanes

Build tableau columns down in alternating colors (e.g., a Red 7 on a Black 8). You can move single cards or entire organized sequences to uncover face-down cards.

4

The Stock Pile

When you run out of moves in the lanes, deal cards from the stock one at a time. Empty lanes can be filled with any card or sequence, providing critical maneuverability.

Rules Insight

What makes Lanes unique?
The structure of six lanes creates a "deep" tableau. Unlike games with many short columns, Lanes requires managing very long vertical stacks of cards.

Top Tip:
Always check the waste pile before making a move in the tableau. You might find a card that allows you to shift an entire sequence and uncover a hidden lane.
