Double the Cards • 8 Foundations • The Grand Master of Patience
Klondike Two Decks Solitaire

Klondike Two-Decks (Double Klondike) is the ultimate expansion of the world's most famous solitaire game. Using two full decks of 104 cards, you must navigate 9 tableau columns and fill 8 foundation piles. It offers more strategic depth and a higher win rate than the original, provided you can handle the scale.

How to Play

1

The Expanded Tableau

Nine columns are dealt in the classic cascading style. Build sequences downward by alternating colors (e.g., a Red 7 on a Black 8). Entire stacks can be moved if the sequence is valid.

2

Eight Foundations

You have 8 slots for your foundations instead of the usual four. Build these up by suit, starting from Ace through to King. With two decks, you'll need to complete two sets of every suit.

3

Stock & King Rules

The remaining 59 cards form the stock. Use them to uncover new moves. Only Kings (or sequences starting with a King) can be placed in empty tableau columns.

4

Goal: Total Clearance

Win by moving all 104 cards to the foundation piles. Because there are two of every card, you have much more flexibility in unblocking buried cards than in standard Klondike.

Double Deck Intelligence

Is it harder than standard Klondike?
Actually, Double Klondike often has a higher win percentage! Having more cards means more opportunities to find the sequence you need, and the nine columns provide more maneuverability.

Empty Spaces:
Just like the classic version, only a King can fill an empty tableau slot. With nine columns, managing these empty spaces is the key to victory.
