How to Play

1

Setup the Grounds

This game uses two standard 52-card decks. Cards are dealt into a large tableau and a reserve area. Identifying the free cards at the start is key to opening up the board.

2

Build the Tableau

Build down on the tableau columns in alternating colors or by suit (depending on specific difficulty settings). Unlike simpler games, managing the large volume of cards requires keeping long-term sequences in mind.

3

Fill the Foundations

Eight foundation piles (two for each suit) must be built from Ace to King. Moving cards here as soon as possible clears the tableau but can sometimes trap necessary builders.

4

Utilize the Reserve

The "House" or reserve cards can be played to the foundations or tableau when they are uncovered. Use these strategically to fill gaps or extend sequences.

Is it harder than Klondike?
Yes, due to the two decks and the unique layout. However, it offers a much higher degree of "solvability" for players who think several moves ahead.

What is the "House"?
The "House" refers to the specific reserve piles (often centered or at the top) that act as a waiting area for cards that aren't yet in play but are ready to be used.
