Rules of Engagement

1

Dual Reserve Deployment

Two decks (104 cards) are used. Two reserve piles are dealt, often containing 13 cards each. Only the top card of each reserve is available for tactical maneuvers.

2

Eight Foundation Targets

Your ultimate mission is to build eight foundation piles up by suit, starting from Aces to Kings. Completing all eight piles secures total victory.

3

Tableau Maneuvers

Build tableau columns down in alternating colors (e.g., a Black 10 on a Red Jack). Move individual cards or partial sequences to reveal buried assets.

4

Strategic Reserves

Empty tableau spaces are high-value terrain. Use cards from the reserve or the stock to fill these gaps and keep your advance moving toward the foundations.

Tactical Intel

How difficult is the General's Patience?
It is a high-difficulty game. The presence of two reserve piles means that card management is twice as complex as standard single-deck games.

Top Tip:
Sequence length matters. Try to keep your tableau sequences long and well-organized; a fractured tableau is the quickest way to find your "army" trapped and defeated.
