How to Play

1

The Massive Tableau

Cards are dealt into 9 columns (instead of the usual 7). The first column has 1 card, the second has 2, up to the ninth which has 9 cards. Only the top card is face-up.

2

Eight Foundations

With two decks, you have 8 foundations to build (2 for each suit). All foundations must be built in suit from Ace to King.

3

Standard Building

In the tableau, build cards down in alternating colors. You can move single cards or complete sequences to other columns to reveal hidden cards.

4

Stock & Redeals

Deal cards from the stock one at a time. Gargantua usually allows one redeal of the stock, giving you a second chance to find those missing builders.

Gargantua Intel

How does it differ from regular Klondike?
The main difference is the scale: 2 decks vs 1 deck, 9 columns vs 7 columns, and 8 foundations vs 4. It also typically allows one full redeal of the waste pile.

Is it easier because of the redeal?
While the redeal helps, the sheer volume of cards makes it a longer game that requires more concentration to avoid "burying" a card you'll need later.
