How to Play

1

The Layout

One deck of 52 cards is used. 12 cards are dealt face-up into 12 tableau piles (one card each). The four Aces are pulled out immediately to form the foundations.

2

Foundation Goal

Build the four foundation piles up by suit, from Ace to King. Unlike many other games, the Aces start the game already in place, giving you a clear starting point.

3

Same-Suit Tableau

Build tableau columns down in the same suit (e.g., a Spade 9 can only be placed on a Spade 10). Only the top card of each pile is playable.

4

Stock and Spaces

Deal cards one at a time from the stock to the waste pile. Empty tableau spaces can be filled with any card from the waste or other tableau piles.

Strategic Insights

Is Fortune's Favor easy?
It is considered one of the more winnable solitaire games because of the open layout. It is perfect for a quick mental exercise.

Pro Tip:
Keep an eye on the Kings. Since they are the last cards to go on the foundations, they often act as the "anchors" for your tableau columns.
