How to Play

1

The Layout

Using two 52-card decks, 36 cards are dealt face-up into 12 tableau columns of 3 cards each. The remaining cards form the stock pile.

2

Build by Suit Downward

In the tableau, move cards only onto another card of the same suit in descending order (e.g., Jack of Spades on Queen of Spades). Only the top card of a column is playable.

3

Foundation Goals

Clear the tableau by building eight foundation piles up from Ace to King by suit. Every card successfully moved to a foundation brings you closer to victory.

4

Drawing from the Stock

Flip cards from the stock one by one to the waste pile. You can move cards from the waste to the foundations or the tableau, but you only have one pass through the deck!

Common Questions

How is Corona different from Limited Solitaire?
While both use 12 columns, the starting layout and specific building rules differ slightly. Corona is often considered a bit more restrictive, making each move feel more impactful.

Can I move groups of cards?
No. In Corona Solitaire, you can only move one card at a time. To move a sequence, you must have enough empty columns to "hop" the cards over one by one.
