How to Play

1

The Double Deck Setup

Using two decks (104 cards), 10 cards are dealt into a reserve pile, and nine cards are dealt face-up to form the tableau. One card is dealt to the first foundation to set the base rank.

2

Eight Foundations

Build the eight foundation piles up by suit, starting from the base rank. If a 5 is the base, build: 5, 6, 7... K, A, 2, 3, 4. All foundations must follow this same sequence.

3

Alternating Tableau

Build tableau piles down by alternating colors (Red on Black, Black on Red). Only the top card of each pile is available to be moved to the foundations or another tableau pile.

4

The Reserve and Stock

Cards from the reserve pile are used to fill empty tableau spaces. Once the reserve is empty, spaces can be filled with cards from the waste pile. Deal cards from the stock one by one.

The Player's Handbook

What is the base rank?
The base rank is determined by the very first card moved to the foundations. All eight foundations will then start at that same rank.

Movement Rules:
Remember, you can only move single cards in this variant. Building long sequences in the tableau requires planning and available empty slots.
