How to Play
Match the Card
On your turn, play a card that matches either the rank (e.g., a 5 on a 5) or the suit (e.g., a Spade on a Spade) of the top card.
Use the Crazy 8s
8s are wild! You can play an 8 at any time, regardless of the current card. When you play an 8, you get to declare a new suit for the next player.
Empty Your Hand
The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the round. If you can't make a move, you must draw from the deck until you can.
Pro Strategy
Save Your 8s
Don't use your 8s too early. Save them for when you're stuck without a match or to block an opponent who is down to their last few cards.
Observe the Opponent
Pay attention to which suits your opponents are drawing from. If they keep drawing on Diamonds, use an 8 to switch the suit *back* to Diamonds!
The "Dump" Strategy
Try to get rid of your highest-ranking cards or your most populated suits first to ensure you have maximum flexibility in the endgame.
