How to Play

Swipe the Tiles
Use your arrow keys or swipe on your screen to move all tiles in one direction: Up, Down, Left, or Right.

Merge Numbers
When two tiles with the same number collide, they combine into a single tile with the sum of both (e.g., 2+2=4, 4+4=8).

Keep the Board Open
The game ends if the grid is full and no moves are possible. Your goal is to create the legendary 2048 tile!
Master Strategies
The Corner King
Pick one corner (usually bottom-right or bottom-left) and keep your highest number tile there at all times. Never move it if possible!
The Gradient Method
Organize your tiles in descending order. This creates a "chain reaction" where merging smaller tiles leads directly into your biggest tile.
Avoid the "Up" Move
Many pros suggest only using three directions (e.g., Left, Right, Down) to keep your high tiles locked at the bottom of the grid.
